A little bit about me

I started out working in IT in 1999 after investing in some Microsoft training which helped me gain my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) qualification. Shortly after finishing my training I was offered a role in a global company and I was based in London.

I was part of a team of 4 in London (20 globally) looking after 800 users spread all over the world. My role was mainly looking after the disaster recovery systems (backups) and looking after the Exchange servers. I also was in charge of designing and building the corporate software build globally. The job entailed a fair bit of travel and I was lucky enough to work in Germany, France, Belgium and the USA.

The pinnacle of working for this company was when they took all 800 of us to Bermuda for a long weekend.

Shortly after that though there was a downturn in the city and the company made massive redundancies and I was one of the unfortunate ones to be laid off. That was at the end of 2003.

In late 2003 I setup as an IT support company looking after home users and small businesses in a small town called Bury St Edmunds which is in Suffolk close to Cambridge.

My dream since I was young was to emigrate to Australia which I did along with my family in 2006.

I setup iSolveIT because I could see that there was a need for a customer focused IT support solution which primarily focuses on customer service rather than profit.

I look forward to continuing with my current clients and to gain new clients in the future
